about agility sanctioning organizations,
go to our links page.
At the local level, agility is run by non-profit clubs and by private agility instructors. Trials are typically hosted by clubs, with their greater resources of people and equipment. At the national level, a number of organizations sanction agility trials. These include:
  • North American Dog Agility Council (NADAC)
  • United States Dog Agility Association (USDAA)
  • Australian Shepherd Club of America (ASCA)
  • United Kennel Club (UKC)
  • American Kennel Club (AKC)

NADAC, USDAA, ASCA, and UKC allow participation by mixed breed as well as pure breed dogs. RAT is affiliated with both USDAA and NADAC.
